Gideon grew up in Lancaster County on an Amish farm. He started working in the building industry at the age of 14. He built new homes for several years and then transitioned into working for Keystone Custom Decks. He was a foreman for 4 years and then joined the design team creating outdoor living spaces.

Over the years, his passion for homes and investing in short term rentals has grown to the point of him acquiring his real estate license in 2018 and joining the team at Kingsway Realty. He is married and lives with his wife, Ahna, and 2 children on the east side of Lancaster City.
